Rectangular Twin

Rectangular Twin Probe shoe. An ultrasonic wear shoe is a  machine cut Perspex shoe that facilitates the transfer of sound from the probe crystal to the material being examined.

Key Functions

Sound Transmission: The primary function of the wear shoe is to efficiently transfer ultrasonic waves from the probe to the material.

Protection: Its secondary function is to act as a protective layer. The wear shoe is designed to be softer than the material being tested, preventing any damage during the examination.

Profiling for Curved Surfaces: The shoe can be profiled to maximize surface contact, which is especially beneficial when testing curved surfaces.

All our probe shoes are 3mm thick.
